T-hood is a private, on-device trading journal. Privacy isn't a feature we added — it's how the app is built. In plain terms: your data stays on your phone, and we never see it.
There is no account, no sign-up, and no login. Everything you enter — trades, notes, tags, photos, and your discipline score — is stored only on your device. It never leaves your phone, and we have no server that receives it or copy of it.
T-hood contains no third-party analytics, advertising, or crash-reporting tools. We do not profile you, track your usage, or build any record of you. There is nothing to track, by design.
If you dictate a note, the speech-to-text runs entirely on your iPhone. Your voice is never recorded to a file and never sent to any server — ours or anyone else's.
If you attach a photo to a trade, it is stored on your device only. It is never uploaded.
Any export, backup, or diagnostics file is created only when you choose to create it, and it goes only where you send it (for example, a file you save or share). We never receive it.
We have no personal data to sell or share, and we never will. This is a permanent commitment, not a current setting.
T-hood is distributed through Apple's App Store and TestFlight. Apple's own privacy terms apply to that distribution (for example, aggregate download statistics Apple provides to developers). Inside the app, nothing is transmitted to us or any third party.
T-hood is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 16.
If this policy ever changes, we'll update this page and the "last updated" date above.
